Having traveled to Italy in June I came across cold blanched green beans served with almost everything! I fell in love and have been making these beans as much as I can. You can serve them however you want! In a salad, on a cheese plate, as a side to a meal. Whatever you can come up with.

  • Green Beans
  • Soy Sauce
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Grated Ginger
  • Pressed Garlic
  • Sesame Seeds

  • Pour boiling hot water over the beans for 2-4 minutes. Don't overcook!
  • Drain and then immediately place in cold water (with ice even better)
  • Make your marinade - i mix together soy sauce, dijon, ginger, garlic and sometimes I use basil. Don't overthink, just mix it all together
  • Soak the beans in a bag or a bowl for a few hours.
  • Drain off the excess sauce and then serve!
